Who is Nai Nicholls?

Naomi (Nai) Nicholls is a Caribbean-born designer, creative director, and multidisciplinary artist, and the founder of Dohara N Designs.

Born and based in Dominica, her work is shaped by the Caribbean’s natural rhythm, texture, and cultural depth, balancing heritage with a forward-thinking approach to design.

Founded in 2022, Dohara N Designs began with hand-crafted crochet pieces and has evolved into a refined design house encompassing resort wear, accessories, and considered lifestyle objects.

Her practice extends beyond fashion into visual and conceptual art, exploring texture, form, and symbolism across mediums. From garment design to painting, her work moves fluidly between disciplines, guided by intuition and intention.
